Preparing For The Cruise

Not only is there a queen size bed, but a pull out sofa, coffee table, dressing table, nightstands and TV. Taking several pairs of shoes is a good idea since you have formal dinners and many excursions which include a lot of walking. Comfortable clothing for these excursions is a must because many of them include bus trips to get to the location of the actual excursion. If you are visiting the Vatican there is also other special considerations, such as a hat or veil which must be worn while inside the basilica. Depending on the time of the year that you travel, a sweater or jacket is a must. Some of the summer nights aboard ship are a little cool when you walk the decks on an evening stroll.
